Seven-time winner at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, including 2018 Folk Singer of The Year, Karine Polwart’s latest project is a collaboration with renowned jazz/folk pianist Dave Milligan. Karine is a multi-award-winning Scottish songwriter, folk singer, and storyteller and Dave is a highly versatile musician and a leading figure in the diverse Scottish music scene.
Their album, ‘Still As Your Sleeping’ is threaded through with images of stillness and flux, leaving and returning, and pivots of change and includes the timeless and poignant 'The Parting Glass' as requested by Margaret Atwood for her specially curated BBC Radio 4 Today programme.

Morven is a composer, pianist and contemporary singer-songwriter from the East coast of Scotland.
A classical piano graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, she blends folk and jazz elements with classical contemporary styles to create a variety of instrumental and vocal music.
A really special talent, we are really pleased to be able to provide a showcase for Morven’s music in her home town.
